Autism Spectrum Disorder and Neurodivergence

Behavioral and Emotional Challenges

Children and Adolescents

Teyah Holliday is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. Teyah has a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those on the autism spectrum, along with youth from complex backgrounds and anyone moving through life transitions, shifting family dynamics, or a season of personal growth. Every client is met where they are, in a space that honors their unique experiences and needs.

Teyah's approach integrates Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, along with DBT-informed, CBT-informed, and mindfulness-based interventions, all grounded in culturally responsive care. This broad toolkit allows Teyah to tailor each session to the person in the room, whether that means building emotional regulation skills with a child, exploring identity and meaning with an adult, or strengthening communication within a family. Teyah creates a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where compassion and accountability coexist, so clients can explore themselves honestly and work toward meaningful change, building self-awareness, confidence, and tools that serve them long after therapy ends.

Teyah holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from La Sierra University, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling, as well as a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from California Baptist University. Teyah's professional background spans school-based counseling, residential care, foster youth services, case management, and behavioral health leadership, with extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families. These roles built a strong foundation in crisis intervention and emotional and behavioral support. Beyond the three core specialties, Teyah also supports clients with anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship and family conflict, grief and loss, emotional regulation, communication difficulties, school-related challenges, and personal growth.

Outside the therapy room, Teyah loves spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking, getting lost in a good psychological thriller, and soaking up the sunshine whenever possible. Whether it is a beach day or simply a warm afternoon outdoors, Teyah is happiest when a little sunshine is involved.

  • Teyah's experience with neurodivergent children, foster youth, and families facing complex behavioral, emotional, and family circumstances brings deep, practical understanding to the challenges clients and caregivers carry.

  • Experience in residential settings, case management, and behavioral health has given Teyah a clear appreciation for how environments, relationships, and life experiences shape well-being, so therapy takes the whole picture of a client's life into account.

  • Teyah approaches every client with patience and flexibility, drawing on a wide range of modalities to fit the individual, with the understanding that each path to healing and growth is unique.

"One of the things I value most about being a therapist is the opportunity to walk alongside people during different seasons of their lives. I hope that through our work together, clients not only feel supported in the moment but also develop a deeper understanding of themselves and a greater sense of confidence in navigating whatever comes next."
