Christine understands that the perinatal and postpartum seasons can be full of complexity - bringing joy, uncertainty, identity shifts, anxiety, and sometimes the resurfacing of old wounds. She specializes in helping women navigate trauma, anxiety, disordered eating, and the emotional challenges that often arise during and after pregnancy. Christine offers compassionate, trauma-informed care tailored to each person's unique story.
Christine's approach is relational, integrative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. She draws from EMDR, Gestalt, ACT, and DBT to tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. For those who desire it, Christine also offers faith-integrated therapy, holding space for how your relationship with God may be part of your healing process.
Christine warmly welcomes clients from all backgrounds and honors each person's story, values, and voice.
Christine graduated from CalBaptist University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Christian Studies minor. Christine went on to complete a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with a Clinical Counseling concentration. Christine has been practicing in the field as a clinician for over 5 years. She has received specialized training from the EMDR Institute and Postpartum Support International to enhance her skills and expertise as both a trauma-informed clinician and a perinatal counselor.
Outside the therapy room, Christine cherishes slow moments with her family and the fullness of life as a wife and new mother. Often balancing adventure and rest, Christine enjoys activities such as off-roading, camping, and even just a slow afternoon in the backyard with an iced coffee in hand.
Christine brings over 5 years of clinical experience specializing in perinatal and postpartum mental health, with advanced training from both the EMDR Institute and Postpartum Support International to support women through the complex emotional landscape of pregnancy and new motherhood.
As a graduate of California Baptist University with specialized training in trauma-informed care, Christine offers an integrative therapeutic approach that draws from EMDR, Gestalt, ACT, and DBT, while providing optional faith-integrated therapy for those seeking to include their spiritual journey in the healing process.
Christine creates a welcoming therapeutic space for clients from all backgrounds, understanding firsthand the joys and challenges of motherhood as she navigates her own journey as a wife and new mother in the Riverside community.
